Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) is a medical technique which involves the administration of vitamins, antioxidants and hyaluronic acid by a series of micro injections into the mid layer of the skin. This non-invasive procedure infuses the dermis with a nourishing combination of these nutrients to help restore and maintain a radiant, youthful and glowing appearance of the skin.

This procedure has been used in Europe and South America for many decades and has become an essential component of skin rejuvenation services.

CIT can be used to cover the entire skin surface of the face (including difficult areas such as upper and lower eyelids), neck, décolletage and hands.

These micro-injections are very superficial, and deep enough to get essential nutrients to the skin. Side effects are generally limited to bruising and swelling.

The benefits of CIT are:
• increased hydration
• improved moisture
• improve skin tone
• promote collagen stimulation
• increase skin nutrition
• remove superficial lines and wrinkles
• reduce free radical damage

The effects are a healthier, firmer and rejuvenated skin. CIT compliments dermal fillers and Botox in these areas. There are three types of Collagen Induction Therapy:

• Micro-needling-CIT
• Needle Free-CIT
• Mesoglow

For more information, visit our Micro-needling and Needle Free-CIT pages. Mesoglow is a variety of Micro-needling; the nutrients are injected deeper in the skin. This technique is ideal for reduction of localized fat in the face or rest of the body.
